what size speakers do i need for the back and the front of my carlton 24v.
all of them are poo and cant measure them as cannot find tape measure lol

any help.

Nothing special 6" all round but the fronts will need spacers made to get any decent speakers of sound to fit due to the depth. Watch the depth on the rears otherwise they hit the boot lid brackets

The front speakers out of Vectra C's fit and they're decent quality. Otherwise you can get spacers off the interent for a few quid.

im gona use the old speaker frame to fit some nice new 6'' speakers, to compensate for the depth. should be a perfect fit. A good plan/idea if anyone is planning to do the same Wink

I did the same, removed the old speaker gubbins with a Rotazip, just leaving the outside frame & affixed the new speaker to same with Sikaflex EBT. Works a treat

I did the same but instead of sikaflexing the speaker in I melted to plastic and used it to build up the area where the new speaker screws went, then drilled a hole through the 4 "blobs" and screwed it in.
