Author Topic: my car wont start  (Read 545 times)

Hi Smiley my omega 2.0 won't start after i hit a stone which resulted in a broken controlarm, steeringarm and the engine crossmember. at first it started and after that it got harder and harder to start. now it wont start at all  Angry

The car gets fuel, but only gets spark now and then. I have changed the sparkplugs and the distributor, but no luck.

this is my first car so i have little experience with cars.

please help me! Tongue

Maybe knocked the crank sensor loose? Or damaged it?

When these start to fail it get harder and harder to start until eventually it wont.

Thats my shot in the dark...

What year was your car built?

its a 93 model. but it gets fuel? could it still be something with the relay?

I dont think so...unless you can borrow one.  CHRIS!!! hes bound to have one....

If its knackered i think the code is 31.

That's one that would have challenged Autoglas's chip repair techniques if it had hit the windscreen Grin

there is only one lamp that works in the dash and thats the oil lamp. so the diagnostic method wont work Angry
