thought id give it a go today and try sort my lumpy idle.
I know the problem and the cure  Grin
took the lead cover off to reveal strangely enough the lead , went to number 5 pulled it out and its covered ney DRENCHED in oil ("O" rings ) any way cleaned the lead as best i could, tried to extract the plug only to find I have the WRONG  size socket BUGER BUGER BUGER .
So its still lumpy  Angry
But i did leave the cover plate off. (forward thinking) pmsl

Update.
car has cured itself yesterday. dont ask how cos i dont have a frigging clue. just got in it and it was fine, still avery slight lumpy idle

Well sure you find the solution, mine was abit lumpy the other week, and i put some DEMO irridium tip plugs in and now she purs with no lump at all!! but think i may still need to replace the fuel filter...
