Hi all, as the title says a while back my offside rear window motor started making an odd creaking/clicking sound whether the ignition was on or off, operating the window would stop it but then it would start clicking again.

Eventually the motor stopped working so I replaced it with one from the senator and the same thing has happened to the new one

Wires in the door look fine, can't be the switches as I haven't got the rears fitted and the front switches have been replaced, don't want to pay out for another motor only to have it happen again!

Usually I would suggest changing the passenger side front switch as it has the control board integrated and this can cause some issues...

It sounds like a short in the circuit somewhere so I would try tracing right back to the passenger footwell where the power cables join up.
