I heard of this forum and thought, hey, those are my kind of guys Wink

The story of my first Carlton is short but it started my interest.

It was a 2,0 and I fitted a GSi-bodykit on it and some other stuff that 18-yearolds like Smiley

After I trashed it (as all 18-yearolds do with their first car) I was obsessed, I loved the nice handlingabilities and powersteering so I bought a 3000 / GSi Smiley

I fitted that with some worse shit Smiley Lotus Carlton-kit! But I didnt want to be a simple replica so I changed lots of stuff, all ideas from my own head (and some inspirations of course).

Larger hole in the front, no rubbershit around the bodykit (whatever its called Smiley) Homemade holes in the hood, "angry-look" in the hood, Rims from Brock, Mirrors from Mattig, Cornersplitters, siderepeaters from Audi and so on...

Undercar Neon was hot at the time, since everyone used blue I went against the stream and chose Green, of course since the cars color is Dark dark green too..

Irmscher-rearlights, dual pipes, completely flat boot

The interior needed an upgrade too, so I chose to install a 7" touchscreen connected to a laptop, the steering-wheel, gearknob and pedals is from Momo

And the boot, JBL GTI 12" bass (hidden) with huge MDS-amplifiers. And of course a 19" screen with a webcam Smiley
This picture is from Elmia in 2006 I think, Swedens largest autoshow.

I also fitted a lysholm Spercharger  Shocked DAAAMN the sound was wonderful, the engine really didnt cope though so after a while and a lack of oilpressure i kind of started hating the car so eventually I sold it, I got the white GSi and some money inbetween so I could fix that one up a bit too Smiley

I sure had some fun with it though Smiley

As I said, I traded it for the white one.

It was in good shape when I got it, lowered, Lotus-wing, some other upgrades and most important: completely free of rust. The first thing I bought was 18" wheels, looked niiice Smiley

I also kept the rearlights and mirrors from my previous car..

OF course Ive had some other cars over the snowy winters and stuff... Here are some:

I hit a wild boar with this one hahaha

Another 2,0 with 3000-kit

Now Ive changed to a newer Opel though! A Vectra Irmscher -98 that Ive also spent lots of time on..

But thats another story, do you guys know of a Vectra-forum? Wink

I hope you enjoy my stories Smiley

hehe no just a 2,0 Smiley Yeah would have been a perfect sleeper!

Too bad the "badge" in the back wasnt true "Lotus 3,6TT"  Shocked Sorry for the sad pictures but it was a fun car (and cheap haha) I accidentally trashed the rear window too, and after a breakin one of the rear sidewindows was trashed too, a real rat-car Smiley

By the way. Here are some build-pics if someone wants to see.

Easy way to fix dual-pipes when you have 2 exhaustpipes Smiley

Under construction-picture of the interior: I removed the screen from its cover and attached the cover to the panel. I also removed the buttons (who needs ass-heat? Wink ) and the ashtray and made the whole thing cleaner.

Larger hole in the front

Angry-look and filled up badgehole.. Its welded metal underneath the "spackle"(?!)

before the paintjob Cheesy

After the paintjob Smiley

I actually bought them at the local Opel-dealer back in 2005, but I think theyve stopped selling Irmscher-stuff now.. A bit pricy though, around 200 euros at the time, but worth every penny Smiley
