Cheers I knew somebody found some cheap ones. Noticed mine were knackered when I was turning my car into a nun killer.

Less that £16 delivered for the pair. Should be the last of the knocks gone when they turn up.

Pretty easy. Undo the three cover plate bolts & then the centre one holding the actual donut in. Turn the cover plate upside down, put it back on the car & bolt the centre bolt ONLY back in place, this should have the effect of pulling the donut out a fair way. Take the plate off again & with a claw hammer extract the donut. A good soaking with WD40 the night before will go a long way to help too.

To refit, get some tyre soap if you can & put on the new donut, push it home as far as you can then refit the plate & bolt it up, this should push it most/all of the way home.

I used a jack, plenty of rubber lubricant, the cars weight and jumping up and down on the rear door sill to push it in Wink

Plus some judiciously placed wooden blocks to hold the suspension in position during this process !

Hard to tell until they're really fubarred then you'll get a knocking under acceleration.

buyer beware  the cheap ones  dont last long!!!!!.  you get what you pay for. and then they are a  swine to get out!.been there got the tea shirt. i fitted genuine gm ones in the end. this was six years ago and they are still ok. i do 18000 miles a year. and carry a lot of heavy tools. i suppose now vauxhall dont even list them like most parts

Only 4 bolts. In front of the rear wheels theres a plate which looks similar to a bike saddle. Un-bolt the 3 outer bolts & the long one centre one & hey presto, theres your donut. Make sure you've a jack taking the weight in the rear subframe & the centre bolt can be a bit of a bugger to line back up to catch the thread but no real issues at all.
