I'm just a six cylinder & Irmscher JUNKIE!!!

« on: May 11, 2010, 07:54:50 PM »

Last Sunday I attended this Classic Car Show near Pencoed in South Wales. The last time that I'd personally gone to this show was over 11 years ago. It was ok back then but not something that I'd regularly make a note of on my calendar. Needless to say, what I saw turning out for this years event was not at all what I was expecting.... Shocked Shocked Shocked

I must be showing my age as I'm starting to like looking at all the older Jags at these car shows....

this E-Type pedal car really impressed me! Cool Cool Cool

And most of the others in attendance did too...

the Fords were well supported as usual....

and mint MG's too....

as well as Porsche's....

Beetles....

Merc's...

and our Vauxhall/Opel's too!

There was always something there to entertain most peoples tastes....

So I guess I'd better thank my mate Gary for nagging at me so much to attend this event! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Sorry mate, I can only apologise about not promoting this South Wales car show beforehand Mitch! Sad Sad Sad

It was something completely out of the blue for me as I wouldn't normally go to this type of Classic Car event. Its changed since I last went to it 11 years ago! The weather forecast for last Sunday wasn't exactly brilliant and I was expecting this to impact the level of attendees. Thankfully the MET office got it wrong and a great day was had by everyone I spoke too.
