The other forum is in direct competition with this one so it would seem that any advertising to the other forum would be not good for TC.

PS I'm not admin so it wasn't me.

No simon, ABS is not a competitor.

ABS is for 6 pots and here is mostly 4 pots.

Why would Ian be a member of the ABS and admin on here if it was competition?

But quite obviously this new forum that Sean and you are quite fond of is direct competition to TC, as it covers everything that TC does.

In a nutshell, the other site is slower than a slow thing from planet slow, and it has too many sections. It also has no social section from what I can see, which is the basis of a good forum - Social/technical divide and balance.

LOOK!!! At the end of the day, we all have one common goal......OUR BELOVED CARLTONS. So why is this subject lingering. There is no us and them, should be no bitterness, Just friendship. Things like this will lose members, not gain any new ones and fallouts among friends.

So now is the time to drop it.

AGREED?

I know they wanted it to be a tech site only........ Dunno why they did.

Please remember guy's that this site is nothing to do with me.
