Simoniz Back To Black works.
But needs doing every now and then.

I tried shoe polish some years ago and wish that I hadn't, it still makes the rag go black whenever I apply a decent product What I use now is Auto Glym Vinyl & Rubber Care ( the Queen recommended it ) it makes the trim and tyres look like new The big drawback to it is that does get washed off by rain but I'm not to concerned about that since I try not to let my precious Carlton out in the rain, that's Vectra weather

I was never happy with the evenness of the result; I'm very happy with the Auto Glym

Used Bck to Black for years but was never that happy with the results & the mess TBH plus a good rainfall & it was gone. Recommended the Autoglyms Rubber Care & its a lot better. Brings tired Senator bumpers, door bumps & the like up as new & doesn't wash off as quickly as other products (does start to streak after a couple of heavy showers but then your probably thinking of washing the car again by then).
So thats my recommendation - Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care

Boiled linseed oil or Autoglym bumper care gel works wonders and it lasts

Apparently, a hot airgun works well. Re-adjusts the chemical composition or something.

Boiled linseed oil or Autoglym bumper care gel works wonders and it lasts Yeah i have seen this one in place on a mates mk1 Astra bumpers & it does a great job, cheap enought to buy too. I have recently used some suff call back for good, its available from a firm called autopia, but its not cheap, but it worked well for me.
