You misunderstand what Jonathan is asking for Melinx! Wink

What he wants is a set of these K-Mac bushes for his Carlton...

Regal imported a few of these but I'm not sure if they would have anymore available Jonathan??

Yes, I realised that shortly after posting but left it there anyway as a price comparison because I bet that the poly bushes (if anyone knows a source) are radically pricier Sad

Roughly £120.
Look on Powerflex or Superflex websites - I also think there's one called Tiger? in Scandinavia??

And yes, they do wear, but nowhere near as much as the standard rubber ones.
On an every day car, they'll last three/four times longer.

Pedro - I know I'm asking a lot here, but could you post a link up ?

Thanks

When B'stardchild got these made by K-Mac in Oz originally for the ABS group buy, Ian got stung by Import Duty/Exchange rates or something like that and the price of ours went up to £120/£130 for a pair IIRC....

I just bought a pair of those Mel - just waiting for a break in the crappy weather to get them fitted.

I am changing the whole rear subframe - the diff was noisy, the donuts were shot, the handbrake cable was stretched, the gmax springs had settled waay too far and I have some new shocks to fit so I thought I might as well do it all in one hit!

Sounds like a bit of hard graft Roll Eyes

If you already have those particular donuts, I'm curious as to whether they're the same aluminium inner as the ones I bought some time back ? they look as if they may not be !

Ah well, they will undoubtedly last quite a few years anyway, if they can be well sealed against water they'll last even longer Wink
