This one has the fogs too.
I don't know if they were retro-fitted or not, but I did also fit the pencil beams while I had it.

...and now I know! Tongue

It's also had a leather steering wheel and a CDX centre console fitted - although I still have the OEM ones.

Spooky! Cheesy So did mine Murph as my old 2.0i CDX also donated these items to this worthy cause....

My Voyager Estate also had the earlier style GSi half leather interior and door cards with the split rear seats retrimmed in Chicargo cloth and matching grey Leather. The only other mod after all of this was an LSD off of an ex-Polac Senny.

Rearrange the following words to make a popular statement  point, well made, good.

When I bought a new Astra back in '93, I wanted a colour not listed for the trim I was ordering - but the dealer was happy to add a total repaint into the deal. Alas, it would have made the LS spec more expensive than the CD spec the colour would have been available in! Undecided

Exactly Pete! Wink

I can just imagine it back in 1989 now Chris....

"Sir, why would you want your Vauxhall Dealer to add a fog-light option thats not available to your £14,297.18 Voyager Special Edition Carlton Estate model thats only available in Mexico Red and for a little more money you could have Haze Metallic Blue version when for £15,704.98 you can buy the CD version that has the front fog-lights you require as standard and a better variety of colour choices with a more luxurious interior also?"

and just before Mr Joe Public can think about this Salesmans proposal....

"Or would Sir like to try our £16,549.65 Carlton 3.0L CDX Estate powered by our range topping 177bhp engine thats capable of 0 to 60mph in 8 seconds and can propell you onwards to around 140mph instead?"

Ok, I was never any good at writing stories but if you had the cash to buy these vehicles new Chris....why would you buy the lowly Voyager which was a base model Carlton Estate with a few extras when most people who liked their leccy toys and luxury options bought either the CD or CDX versions.

But stuff like that would be a special order Whippet. Chris is arguing that the fitment of front fogs on a Voyager Estate would be a cost option at a Vauxhall Dealership which is very different to a special order request.

If Chris had said from the start that these could have been a special order option on the Voyager model in question, I would not have been so pedantic and argued the point....but he didn't say this did he! Wink Grin Grin Grin
