Hi Everybody,

I've recently acquired a Voyager which I promised to put into fantastic rust free shape. I found this site because I know 24vman. I hope to be at the Billing (?) show this year to meet you all.

It's blue and in need of new rear arches and a few other bits and bobs. Nothing challenging really. I tried to upload some photos but just get "" when I press the insert image button so gave up.

It is normal on this model because my 1989 Mexico Red 2.0i Carlton Voyager Estate also had headlamp wash/wipe! Wink

Its what made a Voyager a Voyager so to speak. The Voyager edition was a lower range load lugger that also had a sunroof, heated/electric mirrors, leccy windows all round, 6J x 15ich ten spoke alloy wheels and a sort of tartan interior all fitted as standard with the options being the manual/auto transmissions.

As for the "Rallying around in mud" comment.....

I better add that I fitted my old Carlton CDX's front bumper onto my Voyager Estate to gain the foglights and I also used the CDX's headlights too gaining the extra pencil beams.....as set of facelift GSi 24v 7J x 15inch alloy wheels plus my first GSi's front grill and a pair of clear indictor lenses on the front wings just to make my old bus stand out from the crowd! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Excellent point!
Headlight wipers are gay anyway - and they were soon ditched for later Omega B's.

No need to retro fit headlight wipers to a Voyager Estate because these were standard fit on this Carlton model....
