I bought an MCD10 changer from Billing, but I didn't get the cable to connect it to the headunit. Has anyone got one they're willing to sell so I can get this thing hooked up to my head unit?

Thanks

Steve

As far as I know it should have a blue square mini iso plug at the headunit end, and a 13 pin socket at the CD end. Not sure what colour it is though.

If your car did not have the cd changer as original fitment, you are probably going to need the MCD-A1 control box also.

The 4870 service manual shows the MCD-A1 interposed between the head unit and CD changer, it looks as if the blue lead connects to this.

I shouldn't need the MCDA1 as it's going to a replacement Grundig Head Unit rather than the original Carlton one.

If you can root one out for me Johnraka that'll be great.

OK, what I have is the unit that connects to the Radio (Little black box, cable and connectors) plus the first length of blue cable that runs from the black box towards the CD unit, however it is only the first 6 feet, I believe that there is another length that attaches to that.
If it is of any use to you then pm me your address and i will post it off (no charge, you are welcome to it as it is only gathering dust).

Let me know... Wink
