as above, going to respray it, its fitted at each side by a sturdy nut / bolt in the wheelarch, where else is it fixed?

theres some undertrays attatched to the bumper underneath, do these need to come off?

There is four bolts in under the headlamps two on each side,if you remove your front grille you can get into them that way, real pain to get off.

If it's not been of for a while-good luck.

If it's a genuine LC bumper then there are only the 2 bolts which screw into the chassis rail. The ends of the bumper which curve around by the wheel arch have to be pulled outwards slighty once the bumper has been pulled forward a couple of inchs. The centre lower grill has poppers which attatch to the lower cross member however there are only two poppers which hold it to the bumper they can be found under the number plate on the sides at the top. I find it easier to pop these and leave the front grill behind. Lc's have there horns low down on the nearside and they get caught up on the centre lower grill.

I wish!
IIRC, all Carlton 3's need the bumper off toget the headlights out withoutcausing damage.

They do indeed Ped. The headlight won' clear the bumper due to the wiper motor.

Even without them - I tried!!! Wink
My old ex-plod 2.6 didn't have the gay little wipers, and I ended up loosening the bumper to get the headlamps units out.
Might have had to remove it altogether if the gay little wipers were fitted.
