Yes there's a difference matey, the engine loom ecu talks to the autobox ecu, for in inhibitor reasons.
i reackon you'll get away with the dash loom ( i think )
although it will have extra wires for the autobox selection display for the digi dash.
but if you follow some of the auto to manual conversions it should be a dodle for the wiring, im sure you have to earth out a few pins on the ecu to tell it its manual.
Whats rong with your loom ?

I have done all that I have read in the forums about how to get the windows to work but no joy and the rear lights aint working either - I am no-where near electrically minded but I am able to follow instruction and I had the help of some1 who would know more about leccies than I and still no joy.
Was just going to switch looms around (I have the whole interior out anyhow) and see if that made any difference.
Still open to suggestions tho
