Squeaky Rollers or belts?

as above got a squeak, thats not constant, but does it on what seems every revolution if that makes sense. squeak - squeak - squeak. and more so when cold. tried WD 40 on the actual pulleys themselves, stopped it for a very short while but is doing it again.
is this the belts, or actual pulleys? would replacing the belts be worth a try? if so where is a reputable place to get new aux belts? its 30ne 1988 gsi

WD40 does actually dry out leaving very little lubricant residue
Try using a spray that contains a silicone

ok put on some old spray grease i had in the shed for chains etc, and seems to have done the trick
only thing im left with is a tapping from what seems the inlet manifold / injector area. what is the brass coloured bosch cylinder in that area, think it could be coming from that

It depends how loud the tapping is, if you have a nice quiet engine, it could very likely be the injectors you are hearing; they all fire at the same time
The injectors sound more like a 'clicking' than tapping !

the brass coloured bosch cylinder is your idle control valve i wouldnt expect it to be from that!! probably the injectors as melinx says

I hope you didn't get any grease on the belt, that could be disastrous
For a serpentine belt, the link below is worth reading
