Just realised I have achieved full member status but never actually said hello! I became interested in Carlton's properly just over a year ago when I started a thread on VxOn enquiring about them. The LC has always been my dream car ever since seeing it on Top Gear all those years ago. It wasn't until late last year that I became an owner when I purchased a pre-lift auto Geezer off the 'bay. She was cheap but then she had been sat for a few years in the open. That car was eventually broken up after I realised that it just wasn't financially viable to repair and that I didn't then have the time to repair or a long-term storage solution. I went on to buy an auto facelift which I subsequently sold as a I purchased my current car, a manual facelift GSi, the car I had always really been after. One day I hope I may be able to own a LC but they say you should never meet your heroes
