the heated seat switch stays on all the time, goes off on ignition. mick and myself pull out the relay for the heated screen and the light stays on (in the fuse box)

is there another relay situated elsewhere ?

and is it possible to change the original relay with the later 15 minute timed relay ?

to prevent fusebox melting ?

the heated screen relay is behind the fusebox and yes the later one is inter-changable

thanks chris, so why does the light stay on when the relay is removed ?

what are your thoughts ?

The later relay will allow you to turn off the screen too - which you cant on the earlier relay.
